SCIENCE SECTION B

VARIABLES

1) Manipulated variables ( Things to changed / different)
  • During the experiment : Materials /factors that we can control or change to get different result.

2)Responding variables (Things to measured /observed/results)

  • After the experiment : The products of the experiment.

3)Control variables (Things that kept same/constant)

  • Materials /factors that remain the same throughout the experiment.

STEPS

1. List out the materials /apparatus.

2. Set the parameter that you are going use.

3. For responding variables, what are you going to observed.

AIM OF THE INVESTIGATION

FORMULA:

"To study /investigate /find out /show the relationship between MV and RV.

STEPS

1. Find the manipulated variables and the responding variables.

2. Replace the MV and RV.

3. Answer using the formula that is given

HYPOTHESIS /RELATIONSHIP/CONCLUSION.

FORMULA:

"If the .......MV........, .....TREND........ so the ........RV........,........TREND..........

STEPS

1. Find out the MV and RV.

2. See the trend.

3. Write the answer using the formula given.

PATTERN / TREND

STEPS:

1. See the information from table/teks/from the diagram given.

2. Look at the numbers given.

3. Write the trend.

PREDICT.

STEPS:

1. Count the pattern that is given.

2. Use minus/plus/times/divide to find out the answer.

3. Don't forget to write down the standard units.

INFORMATION

1) State the information from the experiment.

STEPS

1. Write the MV and RV.

OBSERVATION

1) To observed the experiment using our five sens:

  • Eyes - see
  • Ears - hear
  • Nose - smell
  • Tongue - taste
  • Skin - touch

STEPS

1. Can use the words RV.

2. Choose the maximum or the minimum number.

3. Making the comparison.

INFERENCE

1) Reason why the result /observation/things that happened.

STEPS

1. Choose and state the reason why the things happened.
